The Financial Services Authority (FSA) pronounced 143 officers had teamed up with the Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA) for the initial time to raid sixteen homes and offices to seize papers and computers.

The arrests, following the raids in London, the South East, and Oxfordshire, are the fifth to be carried out by the FSA in to insider traffic given 2008.

Earlier this month, the monetary regulator charged a tip investment landowner and his mother with insider traffic and secure a self-assurance on identical charges opposite a former Cazenove partner.

The stream review began in late 2007, the regulator said, adding "that no serve sum can be reliable at this time".
